Hi Anne!

Sorry for waiting a few days to write back.  Anyway, I hope all is going well with you.  My life is boring, but good.  I’ll take boring and good over exciting and bad any time!

Your new office location sounds like its in a really nice place.  I would be very claustrophobic in a room without any windows.  At my old house, when I looked out my bedroom window, all I saw is trees.  It gave me a sense of serenity.  The view out of my bedroom window now is nice too, but I liked the prior view better.

My sister and I are supposed to go to the movies tonight or tomorrow.  I want to see The Mummy Returns again.  She doesn’t really care.  I bought the Mummy Returns cd .  There are some really yummy pics of Arnold in it.  I took it to work with me and showed it to Nora (my boss).  She said "he’s scary looking!"  I don’t think so!  Then I showed it to Carie and said, "you have to guess which guy I have it bad for." to which she replied, "Don’t even tell me it’s that bald one.  Ewww!  He scares me!"  Oh well.  To each his (or her) own, I guess!

Thank you so much for adding this whole situation regarding my book to your prayer list!  I also believe that everything goes according to God’s plan.  I’ve just subscribed to a year of writer’s market on line, which has a lot of the publishers that my book doesn’t have.  I have a few possible leads (hopefully).  I’m just praying that something works out!

If you wouldn’t mind, let me tell you a little bit about my book.  Its an inspirational romance.  Faith is 22 and she meets an older man, Alexander (he’s 39).  He is a widower with three children,  Zoe, Emily and Justin.  They (Faith and Alexander) begin dating.  Emily and Justin take to Faith right away, but Zoe (she’s the oldest at 17) who is very rebellious, dislikes Faith from the start.  Faith is a Christian.  Alexander isn’t.  Faith also finds out that he’s a recovering alcoholic.  Despite all the obstacles, Faith believes in her heart that GOd brought them together, so she starts praying for Alexander and his children.  She has to wrestle with her feelings, torn between wanting to lead Alexander and his children to a Christian life for God and doing it for herself.  To complicate matters, her mom is dead set against the relationship.  Even when Alexander becomes closer to God, her mom still disapproves.  Throughout the course of the book secrets will be revealed, hearts will be broken and restored, and not only does it have a happy ending, but a hopeful one as well.

I hope you will buy a copy when it gets published!  I say when and not if because I know it will be published some day.

I like to exercise too.  I love to take walks and I have a stationary bike.  I try to walk whenever I can.  It rained a lot this past week so it significantly cut into my walking time.  (blech).

Actually, its Cindy Morgan, not Rebecca St James who sings "Listen."  If that’s the same song I’m thinking of .  The refrain goes, "Don’t you know His love will shine down on you? Oh, and yes His peace will come in and rescue.  Don’t you know His blood will cleanse you and save you?  If you just open up your ears and open up your heart and listen."  Some other songs Cindy Morgan sings are "How Could I Ask For More?" "I Will Be Free" and "I’ll Stand."

Gotta go for now.  Until next time, take care and God bless!
