There was a very important "rule" that I missed:  "When a man wants you, he will move mountains, bring water from the moon, catch every raindrop from the sky to be with you.  There is no such thing as a "shy" guy when it comes to relationships.  Either he wants you or he doesn’t."

glad you like my "rules".  Now if every woman was smart enough to follow them, this world would be a better place (relationships wise!)

Hi Anne!
 
I just thought I would pass this along to you.  You know that book "the rules" concering relationships?  Well, I have my own set of "rules"  I have obtained these rules through the many books on relationships I have read (from both a Christian and secular viewpoint), seeing the relationships around me (via family & friends) and from what little expirence I’ve had concerning the opposite sex.  I would love to hear your input on  my "rules".  And if you have any of your own, I’d love to hear them!

*Don’t anticipate future joy (reguarding a man).  Live for today!
 
*Don’t shower any gifts on a man unless you have been steadily dating for at least four or five months (and he should be the first)
 
*Be yourself!  Your soul mate will love you for you and not what you think he wants you to be
 
*Relax and have fun.  No man is worth losing sleep over.
 
*Respect yourself.  Don’t even think about dating a man who doesn’t treat you with the uptmost respect.

*Don’t tell your life story at the beginning of a relationship.  Be honest, but don’t give out any more information than you need to.
 
*Don’t give a man the opportunity to get tired of you (absence makes the heart grow fonder)
 
*Don’t let your life revolve around a man.  Have and maintain other interests.
 
*Remember that being lonely is far better than being in a bad relationship.
 
*Don’t date a man for more than one to two years before knowing where you stand with him.  If you want to marry and he dosen’t– GOODBYE!!!
 
*Never stop believing that your soul mate is out there and you will find one another
 
*Remember that God is in control!
 
*Finally, the secrets to a blissful marraige is to fall in love with a man who loves and wants you just a tiny bit more than you love and want him and to put Jesus Christ in the center of your relationship.
