Subject: Spread the word and the link!

Hello, Michele!

Yes, I had a VERY nice day off! It was raining here as well, so we did not get to watch fireworks. My mother had to work in the evening anyway. I did my HW - I stockpiled a bunch of my favorite movies, albums, and tv show titles to send to you. Every time I’m writing a letter I just can’t think of them, although I know there are plenty of them: now I’m ready!

Did you say that business was slow? I was surprised that y’all were open at all! Does the store close for any holidays?

Yes, please let Danielle visit my site! You have my permission to send that link - with a hearty personal recommendation :) - to anyone you like!

It’s a done deal - I am taking over the Angel’s Secrets site. (
http://www.geocities.com/angelsecrets.geo/) The current webmistress has decided to trust me with the site password, so at the moment we’re both working on it. Soon, it will be mine all mine! Insert maniacal laugh here! :)

Attaching pictures: to attach pics with the email programs that I’ve used, you click the Attach option, and this will open up a folder usually My Documents. I find the folder that has the pic I want then select the picture. In some email programs there is a "Browse" option for attachments that does the same thing - i.e. let you select the folder/location and then the pic that you want. (I’m thinking this was how it was when I had my hotmail account.) If this doesn’t get you anywhere - because you never know what some programs will ask for! - let me know what happens when you click on Attach or Browse (or another option that I don’t know about) and I’ll rack my brain for a plan B!

new questions - answered!

would you rather work five days and then have two days off in a row or would you rather work 3 days, have a day off, work two days, have a day off?-  the second option definitely! (I have always said this to my family when we talk about off days…)

have you ever gone into chat rooms?- I did a time or two, but like you said everyone was talking at once with things like "Hey, all!" or "Wassup?" - there was very little actual chatting.

do you and Sara share your bedroom?  No, but we did for many years. I agree: I’ve always said that if I have kids they WILL have separate rooms.

do you consider yourself mature for your age?- honestly? no.  I am blown away when I think how people our age are parents, doctors, lawyers … grown ups! emoticon

what age do you "feel?"-  usually 18 - 20.

as a Christian, how do you influence others in your every day life?- I also try to be an example for people! I’d like to get more comfortable and adept at actually saying a good word at an opportune time, but I usually don’t think of it until the moment has passed.

what nationality(s) are you?- I’m part Scotch-Irish. I’m also 1/8 American Indian (Cherokee). There may be other "breeds" in there, but I don’t know of them.

do you know any languages?- I also had French - two years, but I’d be lucky to remember how to say, "Where is the bathroom?"

would you make a videotape of you and your husband having sex?- I was going to put yes, then I remembered a story I read in Cosmo about a girl who found her guy showing videotape of that to his dad and brothers! Sicko, perv creep! Videotape + having sex = bad idea!!

can you play any musical instruments?- no (I was going to ask you …!)

NEW QUESTIONS
Any little things that you obsess over? I like for all of my clothes to hang on the hangers facing the same way. I also write down what I wear each day so that I won’t wear the same outfit just a few days apart. (I’m sure I’ll think of more obsessions later…)

Do you dance? Only when I’m alone in my room.

Nature girl or city chick? I’m more of a nature girl, because I like to hike in the woods and I do not like crowds, but I also like to be indoors with the AC and away from the bugs!

any past experiences that affect what you do today? I mentioned how Mom used to buy us clothes that were way too big - these days I chose stuff that fits. When I was in first grade, I had really short hair and one bully girl wouldn’t let me use the girls’ restroom because she said that I was a boy - ever since then I’ve kept my hair at least to shoulder length.

Worst thing you’ve done to someone? In 10th grade, I went to the prom with an older guy who had a crush on me. He wasn’t the most popular guy at the school, and when people asked about my going with him, I would say, "I just went with him because I wanted to go to the prom." I’m sure that it got back to him. Ouch! Serves me right that I went to the next two proms alone!

**recommendations**
cd - Kiss the Rain/ Billie Myers
movie - Adventures in Babysitting
TV show - Beauty and the Beast

funny moments - From Frasier: Niles is distraught over the breakup of his marriage and storms into the powder room after a huge outburst. Suddenly there’s a loud POP. The others think Niles has shot himself. Instead the door opens and Niles is covered with shaving cream; the dad’s shaving cream warmer popped the can.

It’s a slow rainy day here (and I love it!) so that’s all for now. Talk to you later! God bless!
