Hi Anne!
I’m glad you had a nice day off work. It didn’t rain last night after all, but me and Danielle decided to hang out at home and watch the fireworks on tv. They were nice but nothing so spectacular. Oh well, when you seen one firework, you’ve seen them all, I guess.
Yes, it was so stupid that we had to be open yesterday anyway. We are closed Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter and New Year’s Day. Holidays like memorial day, the 4th of July and Labor day we’re open until 5.
Congrats and good luck on taking over the Angel website!! Even though I don’t watch Angel, I will check out the site from time to time. Hey! Maybe I’ll start watching it because of the site. You never know ….!
okay, here is my problem with sending pictures with my e-mails, (i’ve expiramented by sending stuff to Danielle) I’m doing everything you suggested, but when the person I’m sending it to recieves it (Danielle for example) she will get a link at the end of the e-mail that says "view attachment", instead of the picture itself. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say! Not that I think you’re stupid, its just that sometimes it’s difficult for me to explain something. If you have any suggestions about this, i’d really appreciate it!
Let me tell you a halarious incident that happened at work last week. I was working with Mary and Dolly. They’re both older that me, I’m guessing Mary is in her 60s and Dolly is in her 50’s. Anyway, this young girl came in, oh, I’d say she was about 23. Snotty thing, she comes walking over to the counter and says to me "I’m on my way to a party, can you wrap this for me?" (she bought something at another store). I reply, "We don’t wrap." her- "You don’t wrap?" "No, we don’t." Hello? Like, what part of ‘we don’t wrap?’ didn’t she understand? So I could see that she got a bit purturbed. Well, tough shit! It wasn’t my f&*#in fault she waited until the last minute to buy a gift. So she said in that snobby voice of hers, "Well, do you sell gift wrap?" "Yes." and I pointed to where it is. A couple minutes later she came back up to the counter with a roll of wrapping paper. By this time Mary and Dolly we’re at the counter too. So she asks us "Do you have any ribbon?" Mary answers, "Yes, its right where you got the wrapping paper." Snobby asks, "Oh. You mean I have to pay for it?" WHAT?! Mary, Dolly and I excanged a puzzled look and then Mary said, "I guess so, if you want it." (lol). I just thought that was so funny. You had to be there to hear Mary say it the way she did. What, did this chick think we we’re just going to give her ribbon? What’s up with that?
That movie Zeus and Roxanne was on today. It was cute. Anyway, Arnold played the "villian" in it. I guess they tried to make him look kinda nerdy (he had glasses, a moustashe and nerdy clothes), but it didn’t work. Well, for me it didn’t work. I don’t think there is any way that man can ever look bad! Of course I like him the most when he is IMHOTep (the Mummy). Oh lord, that voice! If we had phone sex, would I still be considered a virgin? (lol)

before I get to that, I want to go back to "What is Sexy" for a sec (I always think of something to add after I send my messages!) Anyway, this is kinda connected to what you said about "guys pressing real close, whispering in your ear." Its the whole esscense of a man. If someone put a blindfold on me and first a woman stood really close to me, than a man, and neither one would talk or even touch me (God forbid, I hope the woman wouldn’t!), I would know the difference in a heartbeat. Even if the man and woman didn’t wear any perfume, cologne or aftershave, I would just know. A man raidates a certain warmth, a certain masculine scent. I know I could just feel the sexual chemistry radiating between us.
little things I obsess over- I have to have the money (in the registers at work) facing in all the same direction, when I go to bed at night, if Danielle isn’t already sleeping, I always have to make sure we say "good night" to each other …. I’m sure there are alot more, I just can’t think of any right now.
do I dance?- I will if I’m at a wedding or something, and I’m not the only one making a fool out of myself.
nature girl or city chick?- I think a little of both, probably more leaning towards nature girl
past experiences that affects what I do today- Well, since I was really picked on in grade school, I "escaped" via my imagination. Maybe that’s why I’m a writer now. Maybe what happened to me then helped shape who I am now.
worst thing I’ve done to someone- when I was a junior in high school, this guy, Dave asked me to the Snowball (our school’s winter dance) anyway, I didn’t like Dave and I wanted Jeff to ask me (you know, that whole you like someone, but they don’t like you, but someone you don’t like likes you cycle) anyway, when I turned Dave down, I wasn’t very nice about it. I can’t remember exactly what I said, but I wasn’t very nice. Well, I got mine. Jeff didn’t ask me to the dance. He asked someone else , and Dave went with someone else. And guess who spent that night home alone? Yep, yours truly.
movie- Sleepless In Seattle (my all time favorite movie) I’ve seen Adventures In Babysitting. I thought it was cute

have you ever joined a dating service or listed an ad in the personals?- no. I just have a really difficult time trusting something like that. I feel if I were to do that, I’m not trusting God’s timing. Also, what if I get matched up with some total loser? I mean, I know that can happen even if I don’t join a dating service or put an ad in the personals, but I can do that for free and not have to pay money for it!
are you thick-skinned or sensitive?- I used to be very sensitive. Someone would look at me the wrong way and I would start crying! I’m a lot tougher now, but I think I will always be somewhat sensitive.
Is your bedroom neat or cluttered- cluttered. The room Danielle and I share isn’t very big, and we have so much stuff. If we don’t keep up with it, it becomes cluttered.
what is your Thanksgiving routine? Is it the same every year or is it different?- mine is basically the same. My mom will start cooking the turkey very early Thanksgiving morning we eat around 1 or 2 pm, our meal consists of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and another vegatabe (it varies from year to year) also pumpkin pie! After we eat, we usually take a nap (that darn turkey makes me sleepy) and for the rest of the day we’ll just nibble here and there.
do you write in your diary every day or just here and there?- I try to write in it everyday
do you belong to any record/video/book clubs?- yes. BMG music service, Sound and Spirit, Cloumbia House Video club, Crossings, Audio Book Club, and Quality Paperback Book Club.
