Subject: How embarrassing!

Hello, Michele!

I enjoyed reading about those babies - just thinking about a sleeping baby makes me feel calm.

Color me embarrassed. I’ve actually been working today (if you can believe that). I plopped over onto the sofa that’s by my desk for *one* minute and of course there’s my boss coming in the door the next instant. (I was here by myself.) Man! I’m pretty embarrassed. He hasn’t said much about it - so far! I’m sure it’ll pop up during my next performance appraisal. The kicker is, like I said, I’ve actually been busy doing work for them today, but now it looks like I’ve been slacking all day. D’OH! If he says anything about it today, I’ll be, like, "I’ve just had the worst headache today," or the secret weapon excuse, "I must be getting my period, because I have the WORST cramps!" (He’s a guy so that should silence any more remarks … if I could actually get the complete phrase out of!)

AND yesterday as I was leaving my class, I almost ran into the car of the cute pony-tailed guy that sits next to me in class. Great! He finally notices me and now he thinks I’m a bad driver! I’ve noticed him walking in and out of class - he has a nice shape. If I were bold and flirty I could say to him, "Was that you I almost ran over on Monday after class? I’m very sorry; let me buy you a coffee to make up for it." Oh well … I’m sure he’s all wrong for me anyway. (If that’s the case we’ll probably wind up dating for a few years before I realize it!)

I’ve pretty much decided to get my hair cut in a new style. I have actually been praying about finding the right hairdo - hey, the Bible says to pray about *everything!* I’ve looked on the Internet and found several similar styles that I really like.

The Angel site is moving right along. I feel like I need to gussy up (i.e. organize) the main page of the site, but I just haven’t found a good way to fit it all in. I’m sure I will; or else I’ll find something that’s close enough and go with that!

You said you were waiting to work on your site: that’s good! I try to think of it as a fun project for one’s down time: if you feel don’t feel like working on it - don’t work on it! I need to write that about a hundred times - yesterday I was trying to do too much at once. Once you get on a roll it’s tough to stop!

I did NOT know that James Marsters was on Hollywood Squares. I would like to have seen that! On the show he has a cool English accent, but I’ve heard that it’s fake: he’s really from America. I think that accent is SO sexy about him! (A few weeks ago, I kept dreaming about him!) Did you say that AV has an English accent? Hey, if he’s going to do a book-reading somewhere let me know and we’ll both be there going, "Ooohhh! OH! Say it again! Lower! Deeper!" :)

Okay, I’m back now. I’m hoping your work day’s been better than mine. I’m still embarrassed about that caught-on-the-sofa business. (Is it NOT time to go yet?!) Have you had any SERVICE! cases come in the shop lately?

I can SO relate to what you said about Chaz and having the slightest hope since that chapter of your life hasn’t been closed. In your situation, I’d be doing the same thing: wanting to know what would happen if I saw him, but also wanting to keep thinking about what COULD be.

**Recommendations** I may have sent these before … I’ve got to get organized!
cd - The Sign/ Ace of Bass
movie - Timecop
TV show - Sliders

funny moment- from 3rd rock - some cds arrive from one of those record clubs. They start to play one and "Electric Avenue" starts to play: the aliens find themselves unable to resist dancing to that funky beat!!

**new questions - answered!**

how long does it take for you to read a book- It depends on how much time I have to read! I used to sit and read a book in 3 or 4 hours, but now it takes me several days.

ever read more than one book at a time?- not that I can remember - I would think it is confusing!

ever read a book more than once?- yes.  Are you there God, it’s me Margaret. The Pistachio Prescription. Johnny Tremain. I’m sure there are others …

what color/colors do you like to wear?- I’m also a fan of the darker colors. I like black, but I try not to wear a lot of it at once because I think it scares people.

have you ever tried drugs?- no

do you use coupons when you go grocery shopping?- if I can find one for something that I use. (I love when I find one for something I use!

do you "comparison shop" or do you just grab the first thing that looks good to you?- I’m more of a comparison shopper - I will look first at a product with a sale sticker posted by it on the shelf

ok here’s the million dollar question- for a million dollars would you only say the word "Penis" for 24 hours straight? (how do I come up with these things?)- It would depend - would people know what I was doing and why? Or would they just think I was choosing to say only that word?

Have you ever traveled alone?- sort - of. When I lived and worked out of town, I drove 2.5 hours each way just about every weekend.

NEW QUESTIONS - short list today - almost time to go!
Have you had your wisdom teeth removed? If so, how old were you? I had two removed when I was about 23 and one removed this year. (I don’t have one on the upper right side.)

Have you ever had any cavities filled? I had my first three cavities last year and one this year (probably at least one more on the way) :(

Do people give you a lot of clothes (i.e. "hand me downs")? They used to give us quite a bit - I loved that! Not so much lately…

If you could be on a TV show - as a character - what show would you pick? I’d be a monster on Angel. (Ah the double entendre…)

That’s about it for today. Talk to you soon! God bless!
