Hi Anne!
They totally changed the hotmail format. I have to get used to it. I hate change! But then again sometimes the same thing all the time gets boring. Let me rephrase that- I really don’t hate change, but it takes me awhile to get used to it.
I think its about 1:30 Thursday morning right now. I fell asleep around 5 and got up around 11. I hate it when I do that. I have to go to work for 9:30 and now my body clock is all screwed up. After I’m done writing this, I have to try to go back to sleep for a few hours. If i was off work today I could probably stay up until about 4 or 5 am! Yeah, I’m a definite night owl!
Oh, so you were laying down on the couch? Now I understand why you were so embarrassed. You should have just told your boss that you were practicing for your therapy session (lol).
I like the trent story about the Garfield undies. Come to think of it, I think I have a pair of Garfield undies too. So when I wear them, I have a pussy on my …. um, never mind!
I have another example of the unappeal of shy guys. Well, I have to go back about 10 or so months. This one lady, Kim (she works at the variety store in my neighborhood) had a party last labor day and she invited me and Danielle to come along. Anyway, she kinda wanted me to meet her next door neighbor, Joe. From what she told me, I liked the sound of it: He was 38, very good looking, built nice and was pretty successful financially. So far so good, huh? But then came that killer sentence- he’s shy. I thought, "Well, at least I should go and meet him". So I went and met him. He was very good looking but after the initial attraction it was pretty much a let down. I left the party thinking, "Well, nothing is going to come out of that." And it hasn’t. Jump ahead to last night (Tuesday). This guy came in and Carla waited on him. I was looking at him and realized it was Joe. I mean, I only saw him that one time last year, but I was sure it was him. He kinda looked at me like he knew me from somewhere as well, but he didn’t say anything. And I wasn’t about to say, "Hey! I know who you are." Remember what I said about me being shy with a shy guy? If he would have said something to me first I would have been like, "Oh yeah, I know who you are…" Holy heck, if Chaz walked into *****, I could see him sneaking up behind me and putting his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek or something. I mean, I could be married for all he knows, but he’d still approach me so boldly. God, thats such a turn on! I’m not saying Joe should have done something that bold, after all I’ve known Chaz a lot longer, but a man with confidence in himself should have said something.
Sara paying for some of her dates is a big no-no. Asking guys out is a no-no too. And lending money? Well, lets just say that I have my qualms about even lending money to my own family! At least in my opinion it is. Has she ever let the man pursue her? I know she’s probably lonely and wants so badly to fall in love. Believe me, I know how that feels! But I want a man to want me totally and completely and pursue me with passionate desire. Ok, lets say that I did chase after a man and after everything was all said and done, I got him to marry me. I think I would always be wondering, ‘Does he truly love me with his entire being and want to be with me or is he only with me because I ran after him?" No, I want to look at husband someday and think, "He chose me."
