Ola, Michele!
No, I didn’t send you an email on Friday because I didn’t get one from you. (I checked my other email folders, to be sure I didn’t inadvertently file it in with something else.) I thought, "She must be busy today." We’ve been having trouble receiving emails from one of the companies that we do business with, but I did get the one that you replied to my "photo enclosed" message. That’s pretty strange - is there a Dead Email Office? Anyway, what was I to mark my calendar for?
How was your weekend? Here, I caught up on some chores like thoroughly cleaning and organizing my closet. I had to go count jewelry at 6:30 yesterday morning, but I only had to stay about three hours. I had plenty of time to just be. I have two part-time gigs scheduled for next Sunday, so I’d best not wait until the last minute to study for my test, which is next Monday!
I’ll be glad for the two week break between semesters. I have my final exam on August 8th, and then I’ll be free until the 22nd. This fall I’m retaking a class that I took last fall. There were 14 of us in the class and 9 of us received D’s! (Yes, it was *very* discouraging!) I was really doing well on the homework, and I thought I had a good understanding of the material, but I could not complete the man’s tests to save my life! Hopefully since I’ve had the class before I won’t have to work so hard this time; it would be great if this new professor assigns us the same homework probs as the last one! Next Spring (yes, I’m planning my schedule in advance!) I’m planning to take three courses, which means that I’ll have to cut back my hours here. I’ll probably wimp out and only take two, but they’ll probably be offered only during the day, so I’ll still need to cut back my hours here. (WOO HOO!)
How is your book going? Over the weekend I found some unopened mail from a Christian Romance book club, called Heartland (I think) and I wondered if they would know of a publisher that you could try. Let me know if you want their address, and I will bring it.

funny sitcom moment - from The Simpsons, I love their Halloween episodes. I especially like the one where the had a very distinguished voice reading The Raven by E.A. Poe and when the Raven would quoth "nevermore" it would be in Bart’s voice.

When you get extra money (like a tax refund) what do you do with it? I’ll usually save most of it. Sometimes, I’ll splurge on a little something.
Do you think that you could dress and act like someone completely opposite from yourself for a few days? (I’m think of this as being an experiment that someone might try to write a paper or something.) I believe I could - it would be great to see how the other half lives! For example, I don’t usually go out to bars, but if I were trying to be different I would go (to meet more than to drink) and do my best to be outgoing. I would probably put on a blond wig also.
If you could live at another time in history, which would it be or would you choose the present? I’m sure that I’d choose the present - I’m a big fan of the modern conveniences! I would like to visit other times - if that were possible - as long as I could come back here!
