Subject: That’s right: I’m BAD!

Hello, Michele!

Well, I’m planning to re-watch the Mummy this evening and return it also later this evening. When I was watching the first time and they read that "winged death will come to those who open this box." I thought, "Now see, that is a BAD idea! You generally don’t want to open things with that kind of warning!" But that would’ve made a short movie or a boring one where they all went home and spent the next two hours discussing how glad they were that they didn’t open that box. :)

Boy, that Ken is really dense! "You don’t seem like yourself." DUH! He should ask her now how much she likes him, so she could cuss his sorry butt out!

The new novel sounds like it’ll be good. I’ll give it some thought and see if I have any suggestions. One thing: I agree that for people that are over 25 or so, I don’t think the age difference - even 20 years - is that big of a deal.

It is so great that you get to go to the Kenny Rogers concert! And Diamond Rio is there too? I love them! I agree that if a man likes country music, he is probably quite easy-going. Some people make fun of country songs/singers, but some of the lyrics are really very profound and beautiful! I saw Ronnie Milsap in concert years ago and he was great!

Oh yes! Sara is going to be suspended from work for two weeks because her cash register drawer has come up short several times. They know she’s not stealing it; she just gets confused sometime when she is trying to make change for people. Two weeks without money will really be bad for her - she has a car payment and she doesn’t make that much when she is working! I’m encouraging her to really try to find something else. It would be so great if she didn’t have to go back to *****! If you could mention her in your prayers, I’d really appreciate it.

Movie - Picture Perfect (love BATB - I cry every time I see the beast dying scene!)
TV show - the Fresh Prince of Bel Air (love Happy Days!)
cd - the search continues!

funny moment - from the Fresh Prince - After an earthquake the Fresh Prince was trapped in the basement with his girlfriend (of the moment) and he had learned some startling news about her: she was wearing a wig and fake nails. (I think there was something else that was fake about her but I can’t recall exactly what.) At one point he was sitting on an old tricycle wearing her wiglet with the funniest look on his face. He started to sing a little song: "Stuck in a basement, sitting on a tricycle, girl gettin’ on my nerves" can’t remember the next two lines but the last one is " don’t know if her body is hers."

do you like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?-  love them with natural peanut butter and Grape or Strawberry or Plum or Peach jam.

how many diaries do you have?-  At last count it was about 20. I write in regular spiral notebooks and some of them weren’t so big.

if you ever have a daughter do you intend to let her read your diaries and journals?- yes.

have you ever read the Bible cover to cover?- not at one time - I’ve read it very slowly through - years ago.

Would you date a man that had a really strange name?-  I don’t know; I’ve done time with a bad name and I’d really like a good one!

If you could wipe out one disease/condition in the world, what would you choose?- tough one! probably religious persecution.

NEW QUESTIONS

Have you ever been suspended from work? Yes. A manager who was trying to get me to quit suspended me for three days because he swears that he heard me say the word "shit" in front of customers. At that time I’d just recently started working in restaurants and I hadn’t started swearing yet. They actually tried to call me to come to work while I was suspended because they needed people - I reminded them that I was suspended and could not go in. (If they’d wanted me to quit they only had to tell me! That was a second job for me at ***** for Pete’s sake - I would have gladly left!)

When was the last time you visited a playground and used the equipment? I think it was last year. I love the swings!

Ever write any poetry? Yes. I’ve dabbled a bit…

Ever tried to write a song? Yes! When I was at ***** I actually worked on a song called "Go on, take your dollar and go." (One of the lines was "Wasn’t I good to you, table 52?") I also tried to write some actual songs. I can’t actually decide on a beat to go with them; I usually just write the words. The problem is that I usually set them to the tunes of songs I know.

That’s it for today. Talk to you tomorrow! God bless!
