Subject: They opened the box again! :)

Hi Michele!

Yes I did enjoy the movie again! I picked up several bits of information that I missed the first time. I will definitely check out the AV page. (Pictures? Gimme!)

Would you believe that I am still trying to write that episode summary for that Buffy site? Yep, that’s the same one I started writing this weekend. It seems so simple: write down what happens in the episode. I was going to send it this morning and I was doing one last check to see that it met her guidelines. She says that it should be "high-quality" writing, not too detailed but not dry either. I checked out the examples she mentioned to see how mine compares, and mine was pretty dry. I was just trying to recap what actually happened. Now I’m revamping it by throwing in some descriptive phrases. I’ll be so glad to send that off, and I hope to do that today.

Also at work, I am actually getting to do a little work for the company website! I’m supposed to be organizing how some new company info should be presented, but I was going to do a very simple site on my computer to show him the flow. A web site is worth a thousand words!

That journal to your future husband sounds like a great idea! I may start doing that. I agree with you about love at first sight, but I also imagine that when we meet the One we will know. I can’t wait to feel like that!

I know Sara will appreciate the prayers! She gets so frustrated about looking and she keeps sending resumes to places for jobs that she’s not qualified for. I try to suggest tactfully that she consider something else and she angrily shouts, "Well I’ve tried every other place and no one will hire me!" I feel so sorry for her, but sometimes I truly hate to even talk to her about job-hunting because her attitude really irks me. She is so willing to give up! I know that job hunting is tough and very frustrating, but if you give up there 100% chance that you won’t get anything. I try to use myself as an example: I couldn’t even get the waitressing jobs that I was desperately applying for and then I got this one which is so much better than if I’d settled for the waitressing jobs! My mom was getting depressed as she kept looking, but she finally found a job and I believe she likes it. (She’s working at a local ***** grocery store.) It all goes back to God’s perfect timing. I really pray that His plan for Sara involves something good soon.

That sounds like an exciting story that you’re working on about Grace, Robert and the gang. It sounds like there are some very human issues in it. I agree with you about the Christian/sex dilemma. It’s true that some Christians (I might even say "a lot") have sex before they are married. Something traumatic like a rape could definitely drive a woman to think that since she was impure now anyway, she could have sex and it doesn’t matter. It’s also true that sometimes marriages don’t work out, and people can start again. Have you actually written the whole story yet, or do you just have the concept in mind?

******************************************************************************
movie- Thelma & Louise (I haven’t heard of "The Mighty" - what is that about?)
tv show- Tiny Toons (love Family Ties)
cd- Romantic Opera (contains arias from popular operas)

funny moment- From Frasier. Niles, Frasier, their dad Martin, and (Frasier’s producer) Roz are all on a cruise. As it turns out, Nile’s estranged wife Maris is also on the cruise and she happens to see some flirty woman coming on to Niles who is so not interested in the woman. Maris runs out before Niles can explain. Niles is depressed that she won’t talk to him, so he goes for a walk. Frasier, Martin, and Roz go to Maris’s room to talk to her. She isn’t there but they go in. They think they hear her coming in and they go to hide in the bathroom. Soon Maris does enter her cabin, and Niles is with her. He finds the three hiding in the bathroom. While in the bathroom he sees that Maris used some of her favorite mouthwash which indicates that she is in the mood for love. Niles tells them that he will distract her so they can sneak out, and he and Maris "can celebrate the way a man and his wife were meant to." Niles peeps out the door into the cabin and whispers to the others, "Oh, it looks like she’s started without me." The other three simultaneously say, "Ew.." with disgusted expressions on their faces. Niles explains, "Drinking the champagne."

NEW QUESTIONS

Have you ever called one of the guys that you like? Yes. (Even now, I blush as I think about it.) I called my eighth-grade crush, Heath, because a friend of mine told me that he told her that I was "hot." Yeah right! I tried to ask him about it, but I was laughing and feeling a little shy and couldn’t get the words out. In high school, I called Trent at Chell’s prodding, and asked him "What’s up?" I don’t remember that conversation - clearly it wasn’t very significant.

Would you ever call a guy that you like? Doubtful. I definitely wouldn’t want to have to chase after him to get him to like me! Who knows though - if I thought there was a prime moment to call him, I just might!

Do you remember any of the papers that you wrote in school? yes, I remembering writing one about surrogate motherhood and one about "Conservation through Car Design."

Does your house get a lot of trick-or-treaters at Halloween? No. We didn’t get anyone last year - we live in the country and I guess the people close by don’t have children.

That’s it for today. Talk to you soon! God bless!
