Subject: Life goes on

Hi Anne!

Thank you so much for mentioning my gram in your prayer requests on your web page.  The funeral was today.  Saying goodbye was the hardest part.  I just try to focus on the fact that she’s in heaven now. Whole and happy and she isn’t in any pain.  I don’t think it’s really sinken in yet that she’s gone.  I haven’t really let go and had myself a good cry over it.  I’m like that.  I really don’t get very emotional when something is happening.  I’ll be thinking about it several weeks or months later and I’ll just bust out crying over it.  I hope it doesn’t happen while I’m at work.  Could you imagine it?  "Your total is five twenty five" (sniffle sniffle).  The customer would be looking at me and thinking, ‘What’s her problem?’ (lol).  It’s strange to think how life goes on.  The world didn’t stop because my Gram passed away.  I still have to go to work on Thursday.  Bills still need to get paid.  Life still happens.  You move on, but you never forget.

How’s school going?  I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about that anymore! emoticon No, seriously, I think it’s great that your’e expanding your horiozons.  I guess it would be kinda fun to take a class or two on writing.  Something I’d be interested in.  My only obstacle is lack of time!

You said that you didn’t think Ray was good looking when he first started asking you out, but later you thought he was very handsome.  You probably think to yourself, "Darn, why can’t I feel like I did when I first met him?"  Do you ever think about Ray?  I mean, what might have been if he was a nice guy and things would have turned out differently?  I think about Harry that way from time to time.  I think what could have been. Not that I would ever want anything to happen now. (as I’m sure you feel about Ray).  It’s just that …. well, you know.  You can’t help but to think of things like that.

I liked the dream you had about you passionately kissing that mystery man.  I’ve had dreams like that.  I’ve had dreams where I’m making love with someone and I have no idea who it is! Hmm …. my future husband perhaps?  Yes, that is how I’m going to feel about my future husband! I don’t have sex dreams too often.  Mostly I have kissing dreams, which are just as nice!

How’s the job hunting going for Sara?  She’s really lucky to have a sister like you.  There’s something out there for her.  I’m sure of it!

Hey!  I haven’t mentioned Arnold Vosloo in a few days!  So I’ll meniton it now:

ARNOLD VOSLOO!  Yummy!

Hey, what are Ray and Darrell’s last names?  Just wondering!

>funny moment- from Wings.  Helen was dating Davis and he had asked him to marry her.  Joe went over to Helen’s to congradulate her and they kissed and there was clearly still feelings there.  They slept together, and the next day she still was going to New York to see Davis.  In the meantime Brian had just broken up with Alex (she had left him a note saying she left the island and for him not to bother looking for her) Joe wanted to take the plane to New York to go after Helen, and Brian wanted to find Alex, so they started wrestling over the keys.  Joe said to Brian, "Don’t be pathetic."  Brian said, "I’m pathetic?  I’m not the one who slept with someone’s fiance, you slut!"  To which Joe said, "At least I know where Helen is.  What are you going to do?  Fly around the world and stick your head out the window and go, "Alex?"">  I laughed so hard at that part!!

>How do you like your toast? Litely toasted with butter or jam or apple butter. That’s sounds good!  I also like mine with butter, sugar and cinnamon.

>Do you have a dream car? Not really - I just want something that runs. Or flies? (lol)

>Do you ever have days where you feel like you can’t hardly think? Yes!  There are days my mind just goes "bye bye’ and all I want to do is sleep.  I’m so relieved to know I’m not the only one whose brain decides to take a temporary vacation!

>Have you ever tried to be sexy? What was the outcome?  Sometimes I’ll wear a low cut shrit.  Not so low cut that my boobs are popping out!  But it’ll show a little cleavage.  Anyway, when I’m in the house, I’ll feel really sexy and womanly, but as soon as I step outside I’ll be really self concious and I envision every man I see will try to look down my shirt!>

new questions

describe your perfect ice cream sundae-  Two scoops low fat vanilla ice cream, a drizzling each of chocolate, strawberry and carmael topping, a sprinkle of rainbow jimmies, a sprinkle of chopped nuts a generous dollop of whipped cream and a cherry on top. Yummy!

are you the type who tries new things or do you stick with what you know?-  I basically stick with what I know, but I’ll try something new from time to time.

what are turn offs for you (in men)?- very hairy men (esp back hair!), Long fingernails, sloppiness in dressing (like a wrinkled, dirty shirt and sweat pants.  I don’t know why but gray sweatpants are just a turnoff for me!), Body odor, A man who still lives at home with his parents (can you say weenie boy?) A man who is overbearing, no couth or class, A man who is excessively silly and childish.  A man who doesn’t have a job.  Gosh, the list could go on and on!

Well, that’s it for now!  Till next time, take care and God bless!
