Hi Michele!

How ironic was the subject line you sent? I am so amazed by the happenings today, as I’m sure everyone else is. It is so chilling and frightening and traumatic and sad. Even more chilling, my boss was supposed to leave today at noon to go to DC - and he was to meet with the Small Business office at the Pentagon. He is, of course, not going now. I am okay - they are closing our local government base - Marshall Space Flight Center. I saw your email about the prayer request - I know the first thing I did as I was listening to the reports of the chaos and tragedy was pray for the families and the people affected by that situation.

In other news, you don’t bring me down to say that a long distance relationship is likely to fail. I was going to write the same thing to you last time about the Aussie guy.

Re: bald guys, I believe that Darrell is the first baldie that I’ve liked. (The first, but maybe not the last!) That’s one thing about less physically attractive people; I’ve heard that they have to work harder to attract people so they often develop great personalities.

I bet the Japanese restaurant was great. I’ve been to one, years ago when I was still eating red meat and I had some tasty beef tips. When I was there I had a "virgin" strawberry daiquiri.

That is great how you will be in Ireland for your birthday. Color me jealous!

Since our workers are MSFC are going home, my bosses have told me that I can go, but I dread getting into that traffic. When I think of these tragedies, particularly the twin towers, I really almost cry because it is such a huge tragedy. Imagine those workers getting up, getting ready going to work, ready for another business Tuesday . . . and then finding themselves in the middle of that utterly surreal tragedy.

just a suggestion-

for recommendations and funny moments- I think we should now only do this if we think of something.  My brain is kinda fried!  Also instead of funny moments, how bout favorite moments from tv and movies.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a funny moment.  What do you think?
–>Good idea! I’ve been thinking of several good movie moments that I love. I’ll include one next time.

That’s it for today. Talk to you soon! God bless!
God bless America!
