Subject: Congrats!!

Hi Anne!

Gotta say it again- congrats on buying The Mummy Returns!  I assume you’re eventually going to buy The Mummy as well?  Mmm, mmm, mmm, isn’t Arnold Vosloo fine?  I alomost lost it when he was wearing that black trenchcoat/robe.  He looked so sinesterly sexy in it!  Yes, I know that a movie about the Scorpion King is coming out.  No, Arnold isn’t in it.  I might wait for that one to come out on video to watch it.  Have you shown your mom and Sarah AV yet?  what was their reaction?

Ok, now I get it about domain names and web pages and all that.  I kinda figured that you would have to pay for a domain name.  Is it expensive?

The Emperor’s New Groove was cute. Danielle and I saw it at the theatre last year so I didn’t have to worry about commericals.  Yeah, watching movies on tv can be a pain in the ass.  It is very annoying to watch ten minutes of a movie and 15 minutes of commericals!  I want to see Monsters Inc.  I also want to see Riding In Cars With Boys.  There are a lot of movies I would like to see.

oooh, Anne has a crush on her professor!  Egypt, huh?  Does he have an accent.  Oh, of course he has to be married.  If he wasn’t you wouldn’t find him so attractive.  How do you know he has a kid?  Yeah, what if  AV was teaching your class!  Talk about needing God’s strength!  Could you imagine him saying to you in that sexy accent "Anne, could you stay after class?  I need to "discuss" some things with you."  And you say, "Um, is that really nessacary?" and he says "yes, it is" and you sigh and say, "ok."  and you think to yourself, "well, God, you asked for it…" (lol)  And you and professor Vosloo are alone together and he walks behind you and puts his arms around your shoulders and whispers, "You are so beautiful …"  And you turn to him and he lowers his full, sensual mouth upon yours… It would be like "goodbye virginity"!!

Anne when you have inventory gigs, do you usually work with the same people?  How do you know when you have to work?  Do you call them or do they call you?

Thanks for sending me that website for "Adopt A Soldier" .  I will do that too.  I think our troops need all the moral support they can get.

I’m pretty stressed out right now.  Why, you may ask.  Ok, last night me, Shelly and Kristin worked.  We had a lot to do (merchendise needed to be priced, cards needed to be put out etc).  Anyway, there was no way we could of gotten everything done.  So today, Nora calls me (she won’t be in until tomorrow) and asks me what we all got done last night and she kinda gave me a hard time because we didn’t get everything done.  And she was like "What did Shelly and Kristin do…blah blah blah."  First of all, I’m not Shelly and Kristin’s keeper!  I feel that everyone does their own thing. If I told Shelly and Kristin "Ok, do this and this and that" they might think I was this dictator or something!  I was just really stressed out about it.  I mean, I love Nora to death but sometimes she expects too much from me!

ok… let me stop for a moment and think good happy thoughts.  ARNOLD VOSLOO … Ahh, much better!

One more question- do you perfer Arnold bald or with hair (if you had to choose one)?  Me?  BALD IS BEAUTIFUL, BABY!!   After I would get through with him, there would be hickies all over his beautiful bald head!!

on that pleasent note, I’ll say bye for now.  Oh!  thanks for praying for a safe flight for me and Danielle!  Until next time, take care and God bless.  God bless the USA!

Hi, Michele!

Sorry to see that your computer is down again. :(

I thought I’d send a quick note to let you know I’m still here. :)

Yesterday I used my coupon for a free taco - a bean taco of course - at Taco Bell. I think things that are free just taste better.

(Yes, it is sort-of a slow day.)

My plans for the rest of today include going to class, staying awake in class, returning to work :P and going home (woo hoo!). At home I need to watch Angel so I can start thinking about my episode review.

That’s it for now. Talk to you later! God bless!

Subject: Did it! Bought it! Watched it!

Hi, Michele!

Let us celebrate: I bought and watched the Mummy Returns on Saturday; I am still trying to get over how *damn* fine Arnold Vosloo is! WOO HOO! I was surprised to see that the Scorpion King was an actual Scorpion … King. Did you know that there is a movie about the SK coming out sometime soon? I did not see AV in the trailer so I will have to think about that one.

I’ll try to calm down. I hope you had a RELAX-ing day. Just yesterday my sister told me that some group has remade "Relax." Is nothing sacred?

Interesting idea with the song names interjected into the paragraphs. I thought of trying that, but I’m writing at the last minute today, plus I don’t have the radio on.

Well, to answer your question about domain names: the main "dot com" name is the domain (yahoo.com, usatoday.com, etc.) Geocities.com is a domain - basically mychezanne and the angel site are just subfolders in that domain. The main advantage of a domain is that it’s shorter. The main disadvantage is that one must pay for a domain, and then one must find someone to host your domain.

One thing I will say: Yahoo! sure does have a lot of add-ons for their website people to use. Today I added a "group" to the Angel site; basically people can fill in their email address and I will send out an email when I update the site. I already have one member - besides myself! I cleverly called my group The Angel Group. (Where do I come up with these things?)

Anyhoo, no I haven’t seen The Stand. I did think it was a scary one. Yesterday I watched The Emperor’s New Groove. Note to self: never watch movies on TV! I swear they showed five minutes of the movie then ten minutes of commercials! In any event, it was a really cute movie. David Spade makes a good llama-voice.

Brief confession here: I think I have a *little* crush on my professor, Dr. Tutanji. (I believe he is from Egypt.) He’s probably about 35 and very married with child. Fear not, I won’t do anything crazy. I just really, really, really like smart men!

I’m trying to calm down again. Sudden thought: what if Arnold Vosloo was teaching my class? It would be scandalous! (Wicked laugh here that goes on for several minutes ….)

What was I saying? Oh, yes. I was about to concur with your points about Considerations When Meeting People On-line. Besides the wondering what is wrong with them that they’re hiding, can you imagine how unspeakably awkward the first meeting with them would be? I’d feel like I was part of some pre-arranged marriage! Okay that’s a bit dramatic, but I agree that I want to meet the guy in person so I can feel the sparks before I agree to go out with him.

In other news, I actually have a part-time inventory gig tomorrow evening. I believe that is the first one I’ve had this month. I love when that happens!

In other other news, I heard on the Christian radio station Friday morning about an Adopt a Soldier program, where a person can write to a soldier and tell him/her that she is praying for them. It’s like a penpal program with a soldier. I really felt that I should be involved in that so I filled out the form on the site and sent an "Introductory Letter." If you’re interested, I found it on the site
http://www.wayfm.com/ That site gives you more "station" options: of course I picked the station for Tennessee, Alabama, etc. I wrote on Friday and still haven’t heard anything yet. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get the person that God wants me to have; I really like the thought of writing to and encouraging a soldier.

That’s it for today. Talk to you soon! God bless!

Subject: Relax!

Hi Anne!

Yes, as the Frankie Goes To Hollywood song says, I’m RELAXing this weekend.  How did I manage a two day weekend?  Pure luck!

I’m going to try something a little different this e-mail.  I’m listening to my walkman as I’m writing this.  I’m jumping between the classic rock station and the "hits of the 80’s-today" station (plays a lot of disco/dance music).  As I’m writing this letter, I’ll make a note of the songs I’m listening to.  I don’t know, it’s just something different.

…so I’ll start right now **American Pie by Don McClean**

congratulations on having your new domain name! Neeloo is pretty cool.  At least you know nobody else will have the same name as you.  I’m a bit confused here.  What’s the difference between a domain name and having a web site (like chez anne?)  Yes, I am a total retard when it comes to computers!

Yeah, all those cases of anthrax are pretty scary.  I just want to say to these people who are doing this "Why can’t you just leave us alone?"  All I want to do is go to Disneyworld and have a good time and not have to worry about anything!  Anne, I know you probably have been, but could you please pray that I have a safe flight (both ways!).  We shouldn’t have to live in fear like this!

**Life in the fast lane- The Eagles (love this song!  Don Henly has the sexiest voice!!)**

I’m glad you have the same fears about online dating.  Its not only the fact of what if the guy turns out to be a nut or simply unattractive its just that how can you really know someone if all you see are words on a screen?  I mean, okay, I feel pretty close to you and all we’ve been doing is e-mailing each other and we know what each other looks like, but it’s not like I’m looking at you as a potential mate (LOL)!  I mean, what if I meet someone on line and we get along really great and we exchange pictures and he’s attractive and we meet in person and he has b.o. or has a voice that sounds like fingers on a chalkboard?  At least  if I meet someone in person I’ll know right away if I’m attracted to him or not.  (Physical is the spark, personality keeps the fire going).

**Word Up- Cameo (Love this song too!  Great beat!!)**

That’s why I’m just taking this whole "e-mailing this guy in Fla" with a grain of salt.  I am not going to get my hopes up because I know if I do, I’ll be disappointed.

Yes, Mike Myers is the voice of Shrek.  THere’s going to be a sequal.  Austin Powers?!  Yeah, baby, yeah!  No AV movies?!  Well, when you do get one, you’ll have to tell me so we can celebrate!  Have you rented TMR yet?  Well, what are you waiting for??

Danielle and I might go to the movies today (sunday) I was going to suggest yesterday, but I was so tired.  I think my period’s working on me.  I felt like such a lazy bum.  I didn’t even change out of my pj’s.  And it was beautiful out too.  I could have taken a walk but I didn’t.  At least I rode my exercise bike later that night.  And I wrote another short story.  I’ll mail that out tomorrow.

**Sharp Dressed Man- ZZ Top (good song)**

I re-watched "The Stand" this past week.  Have you seen it?  It’s a mini-series based on Steven King’s novel of the same name.  It origanally was on in 1994.  Molly Ringwald was in it.  So was Rob Lowe, Gary Sinise and Laura San Giacomo (to name a few).  It’s pretty long (I’m guessing about six hours without commericals) but it’s a great movie.  I don’t know if I mentioned this before or not, but I like Gary Sinise.  I think he’s sexy.  He doesn’t have quite the same affect as Arnold does, but "my my I do declare, I do get the vapors" when I see him!  Another actor who I like (and who is in the stand) is Adam Storke.  He played Julia Roberts love interest in Mystic Pizza.  That’s the only other movie I know him from.

**Bennie & The Jets - Elton John** (not one of my favorite songs by him, but I still like it)

Also Ed Harris (Stepmom, Apollo 13) has a small part in the Stand.  He’s a general or something and he’s clean shaven bald.  Well, that commanding presense coupled with the baldness…. I just found that so incredibly attractive.  I don’t really like Ed Harris (I mean, he isn’t a bad looking guy, but I never really noticed him before) but I just think he’s so sexy in that small role he played in The Stand.

**Upside Down- Diana Ross (get funky!!)**

FYI- The Stand isn’t a horror movie.  There are some scary scenes and some "gross" scenes, but it is a very emotional movie.  God plays a big part in it.  I highly reccomend it.  I was really pleased with how it came out.  The book is looong (over 1000 pages) and I was afraid that it was going to be torn to shreads. The movie stayed pretty true to the book.  They changed the ending though, and I like the movie ending better.  The book ending was kinda depressing but the movie ending was beautiful.  I was bawling (even though I’ve seen it several times before).

**Saturday Night Fever- Bee Gees (love this song!)**

Well, that’s it for now.  Hope you had a good weekend!  Take care and God bless!  God bless the USA!
