Subject: Did it! Bought it! Watched it!

Hi, Michele!

Let us celebrate: I bought and watched the Mummy Returns on Saturday; I am still trying to get over how *damn* fine Arnold Vosloo is! WOO HOO! I was surprised to see that the Scorpion King was an actual Scorpion … King. Did you know that there is a movie about the SK coming out sometime soon? I did not see AV in the trailer so I will have to think about that one.

I’ll try to calm down. I hope you had a RELAX-ing day. Just yesterday my sister told me that some group has remade "Relax." Is nothing sacred?

Interesting idea with the song names interjected into the paragraphs. I thought of trying that, but I’m writing at the last minute today, plus I don’t have the radio on.

Well, to answer your question about domain names: the main "dot com" name is the domain (yahoo.com, usatoday.com, etc.) Geocities.com is a domain - basically mychezanne and the angel site are just subfolders in that domain. The main advantage of a domain is that it’s shorter. The main disadvantage is that one must pay for a domain, and then one must find someone to host your domain.

One thing I will say: Yahoo! sure does have a lot of add-ons for their website people to use. Today I added a "group" to the Angel site; basically people can fill in their email address and I will send out an email when I update the site. I already have one member - besides myself! I cleverly called my group The Angel Group. (Where do I come up with these things?)

Anyhoo, no I haven’t seen The Stand. I did think it was a scary one. Yesterday I watched The Emperor’s New Groove. Note to self: never watch movies on TV! I swear they showed five minutes of the movie then ten minutes of commercials! In any event, it was a really cute movie. David Spade makes a good llama-voice.

Brief confession here: I think I have a *little* crush on my professor, Dr. Tutanji. (I believe he is from Egypt.) He’s probably about 35 and very married with child. Fear not, I won’t do anything crazy. I just really, really, really like smart men!

I’m trying to calm down again. Sudden thought: what if Arnold Vosloo was teaching my class? It would be scandalous! (Wicked laugh here that goes on for several minutes ….)

What was I saying? Oh, yes. I was about to concur with your points about Considerations When Meeting People On-line. Besides the wondering what is wrong with them that they’re hiding, can you imagine how unspeakably awkward the first meeting with them would be? I’d feel like I was part of some pre-arranged marriage! Okay that’s a bit dramatic, but I agree that I want to meet the guy in person so I can feel the sparks before I agree to go out with him.

In other news, I actually have a part-time inventory gig tomorrow evening. I believe that is the first one I’ve had this month. I love when that happens!

In other other news, I heard on the Christian radio station Friday morning about an Adopt a Soldier program, where a person can write to a soldier and tell him/her that she is praying for them. It’s like a penpal program with a soldier. I really felt that I should be involved in that so I filled out the form on the site and sent an "Introductory Letter." If you’re interested, I found it on the site
http://www.wayfm.com/ That site gives you more "station" options: of course I picked the station for Tennessee, Alabama, etc. I wrote on Friday and still haven’t heard anything yet. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get the person that God wants me to have; I really like the thought of writing to and encouraging a soldier.

That’s it for today. Talk to you soon! God bless!
Anne
God bless the USA!
